Mrs. Denise Wenger McDaniel, 65, of Kilmichael, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at her residence.  She was born September 26, 1958 in Kokomo, IN to Paul Ray and Corinthia Ann Swope Wenger.  Denise was raised in Winona and was a graduate of Winona High School.  She enjoyed a long, successful career with Kroger and retired from their management team.  Denise was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Allen McDaniel; three daughters, Anita Lantz(Rich) of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Sandra Chaney(Brent) of McCool and Jennifer McCaskill(DJ) of Kosciusko; four sons, Daniel McCormick(Angelica) of Grenada, Jeremy McDaniel(Jill) of Lucedale, Justin McDaniel of Kosciusko and Jed McDaniel of Starkville; three sisters, Terri Boatman of Winona, Glena Kearns(Tom) of Colorado and Vanetta McCormick(Andrew) of Duck Hill; three brothers, Kent Wenger(Donna) of Winona, Greg Wenger(Irene) of Carrollton and Jimmy Swope(Shanna) of Tallahassee, FL; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
