Mr. Dennis Roy Smith, 65, of Calhoun City, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis. He was born September 10, 1960 in Isola to George and Virginia Rodgers Smith. Dennis had worked in the construction business most of his life as a professional flooring installer and also in the construction of metal buildings. In retirement he spent most of his time watching Westerns.

A time of remembrance will be celebrated from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, June 14, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service. All friends and family are invited to join in this time of reflection and sharing of fond memories from Dennis’ life.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Smith(Brandi) of Holcomb and James Smith(Carrie) of Calhoun City; daughter, Candice Holloway(Ryan) of Fairhope, AL; five grandchildren, Erika Smith, Tristan Holloway, Ann Claire Holloway, Brayden Smith and Kenzlee Ray Smith; and one great-granddaughter, Khloe Kate Cashaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Smith.
