Mrs. Diane Wilson Melton, 70, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.  She was born March 23, 1949 in Lexington, TN to Robert C. and Rena Elizabeth Jordan Wilson.  She had worked for many years as a Pharmacy Technician and will be remembered as a devoted Pastor's wife always willing to serve in any capacity in the churches that she and her husband served in through the years.  She was a wonderful friend, sister, wife, mom and Nana.  Diane will be truly missed, but her family finds strength in the knowledge that she is in a better place and we will see her again one day.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Hardy Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday evening at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service Saturday at Hardy Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. James Melton; daughter, Candice Harris(Keith) of Duck Hill; Joshua Melton(Sarah) of Houston, TX; three sisters, Robbie Hughes of Tuscaloosa, AL, Edna Maxwell of Parsons, TN and Barbara Canaday of St. Augustine, FL; one brother, Bobby Wilson(Linda) of Lexington, TN; and two grandchildren, Keri and Xander Harris.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Ashton Melton; two sisters, Betty Jo Jowers and Jane Frasco; and two brothers, James Wilson and Neil Wilson.
