Mr. Melvin "Dick" Sullivan, 84, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Grenada. He was born August 27, 1933 in Sweatman to Richard and Annie Sue Collins Sullivan. He owned and operated Dick's Small Engine Repair for over 20 years. Dick was a Baptist and had served in the US Army.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 28, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Lonnie Case officiating. Interment will follow in the Duck Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Allene Harbin Sullivan; one son, Randy Sullivan (Pam) of Hernando; five grandchildren, Eric Sullivan, Stephanie Utroska, Pam Sullivan, Ashley Berryhil and Heather Sappenfield; eight great-grandchildren, Madison, Tripp, Gabbi, Brody, Brady, Peyton, Gracie and Breckin; and one sister, Gertrude Drivers of Jackson, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Kenny and Mike Sullivan; one granddaughter, Courtney Sullivan Hill; one sister, Ardie Mae Bass and three brothers, Jimmy, Robert and Bernard Sullivan.
