IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dominic
Zametto
June 10, 1977 – October 31, 2021
Dominic Antonio Zametto
6/10/1977 to 10/31/2021
Livin' the Dream…
The three things he loved the most were hunting and fishing, music, and his Mother.
Born in Grenada, Mississippi, only child of Glenn and Pat Zametto (Pat says one Dominic was enough). Dominic enjoyed a happy childhood hunting, fishing, and raising cane around Grenada as a lot of kids did in small Southern towns back in the 80's. There wasn't any x-boxes but there were a lot of boxes of shotgun shells.
While in Arizona, he became a Harley Davidson Mechanic, making lifelong friendships and incredible memories. He spent time in Colorado, pretending to take real college classes where he learned to backpack and shoot Elk. Next he ventured to Montana to train as a Fly Fishing Guide, which would become his lasting passion and career.
In 2012, he became the proud owner of Two Rivers Fly Shop in Norfork, AR under the close tutelage of the legendary Jim Lipscomb. He and Jim were a perfect match, almost as good as his wife Dru.
In 2014 Dominic and Dru began living on their beautiful Lone Rock Ranch. With Dominic's history of hunting and fishing and his bigger than life personality, he was accepted into the little Ozark community of Norfork and surrounding areas. With the help of Jim and Dru and the unconditional love and support of Ms Pat, Two Rivers Fly Shop became an icon FlyShop for the state of Arkansas.
He was a true Son of the South, a friend to all, and a noble God-fearing Sportsman. He will be incredibly missed.
He is preceded in death by his larger than life, father, Glenn, another great American.
