Mr. Roger Don Juan Davis, 63, of Gore Springs, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  He was born March 26, 1957 in Charleston to William Chester and Lucy Yvonne Flint Davis.  Don had spent most of his working life as a painting contractor and attended the Grenada Church of God.  He had an excellent ear for music and enjoyed writing songs and playing his guitar.  He was also avid gun enthusiast and enjoyed anything dealing with horses.  Above all, he had a strong love for his family and his passing leaves a void in the hearts of many whom he loved.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. James McElroy and Bro. Kelly York officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, April Brister Davis; two daughters, Kristy Davis Olsem(Travis) of Grenada and Chellsee Davis Perry(Jim) of Holcomb; one son, Chad Davis(Danielle) of Grenada; sister, Gayle Ashford of Water Valley; mother-in-law, Voncille Brister of Grenada; five grandchildren, Levi Snyder, Savanna Snyder, Zachary DonJuan Snyder, KenLeigh Grace Davis, Harley Alexa Davis and the family is anxiously awaiting the arrival of another granddaughter, Ella Rose Perry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Buddy, Wesley and John Wayne Davis.
