Mr. Donald Leroy Box, 66, of Tillatoba, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada. He was born December 31, 1949 in Friars Point to George Franklin and Virginia Dare Box. He retired after spending many years in the commercial advertising business. Mr. Box was a member of Willow Springs Assembly of God and the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Willow Springs Assembly of God with Bro. Tommy Darby and Bro. Mike Darby officiating. Interment followed in the Bethel Cemetery at Teasdale.
Survivors include his wife, Susie Box; four sons, Wayne Box and his wife, Donna of Grenada, Wesley Box of Tillatoba, Dave Box and his wife, Donna of Oakland and Boone Box of Tillatoba; five brothers, Jimmy Box, Jerry Box, Rodney Box, Randy Box and Mark Box; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Benny and Kenneth Box.
Pallbearers were Ben Box, Bubba Dukes, Dale Dukes, Tommy Kendall, Luke McCluskey, Daniel Pittman, Bryan Snyder, Caleb Snyder, Colton Snyder and Nick Snyder.
