Mr. Donald Burdell Passer, 77, of Grenada, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  He was born September 5, 1948 in Grenada to Burdell and Gretelle Nail Passer.  Don earned a degree in music education from Delta State University.  Don enjoyed a long career as an educator and band director in Crossett, Arkansas.  Upon his return to Mississippi, he obtained his certification as an EMT and later worked as the Head of Security at Newsprint South.  Ultimately, he retired to his family farm and enjoyed living a quiet life in the country.

Memorial service plans are private.

Survivors include a daughter, Judith Epstein of California; two sisters, June Sultan and Karen Kinard of Grenada; brother, Bob Passer of Grenada and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
