Obituary

Mrs. Donna Beth Barbian Box, 66, of Tillatoba, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at her residence.

Born on August 4, 1959, in Pontotoc, she was the daughter of Clarence Larry Barbian, Sr. and Dorothy Collene Raines Barbian. Donna dedicated much of her professional life to serving others as the EMT Coordinator and Supervisor at Bowater in Grenada, where her compassion, leadership, and commitment to the well-being of others earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues and friends.

Outside of her work, Donna had a keen eye for beauty and design. She enjoyed decorating her home and had a special passion for collecting antiques, finding joy in preserving pieces of the past and surrounding herself with treasured items that reflected her unique style and personality.

Donna was a faithful member of Willow Springs Assembly of God, where she found strength in her faith and fellowship among her church family. Her kindness, caring spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves behind a legacy of service, faith, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Willow Springs Assembly of God with Rev. Tommy Darby officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery at Tillatoba. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Box; daughters, Marsha Hillhouse of Lexington, TN, Autumn Hillhouse(Jason Cole) of Grenada, Jackie Box(Jimmy Gray, Sr.) of Fulton and Courtney Box of Fulton; brother, Larry Barbian(Heidi) of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Mason Tillman, Layla Tillman, Gage Rowland, Preston Rowland, Dylan Rowland and Landon Cole; and two great-grandchildren, Atlyn Tillman and Ezra Rowland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lori Christian and Nancy Chambers and a grandson, Jimmy Lee Gray.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Barbian, John Box, Dylan Rowland, Gage Rowland, Preston Rowland and Mason Tillman.
