Mrs. Dorothy Organ Collins, 83, of Grenada, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018. She was born October 2, 1934 in Carroll County to Andrew and Johnnie Counts Organ. She retired from Pennaco Hosiery after 19 years and then spent 20 years as an employee of Heatcraft. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was active in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary where she had served as Secretary. She devoted her life to taking care of her family and others. She was an avid animal lover.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Brent Barker, Rev. Eugene Heimbach and Rev. Barry Worrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Holcomb Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday evening and one hour prior to the service Tuesday all at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Hicks (James) of Duck Hill; one son, Tommy Lott (Rita) of Jackson; three grandchildren, Jennifer Darby (Michael) of Batesville; Nathan Noble of Dallas, TX and Patrick Lott (Julie) of Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, Katlyn Lott and Kasy Lott of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Collins; and a sister, Mary Lou Carpenter.
