Mr. Edward Doyle Jones, 64, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at his son's residence in Southaven. He was born August 14, 1954 to John D. and Bertha Louise Mathis Jones. Doyle spent most of his working life as an employee of the US Army Corps of Engineers at Grenada Lake and could always be found trying to help others when a need arose.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. James Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore's Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County. Family and friends will gather from 12:00 noon until service time Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include two sons, William Jones of Southaven and Jason Jones of Hernando; three sisters, Ann Earwood of Brandon, Irene Carpenter of Grenada and Eva Nell Covington of Oakland; and two brothers, Johnny Jones of California and Charlie Jones of Kosciusko.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Canoy and two brothers, Chester Jones and Ricky Jones.
