Timothy "Drew" Jackson, 22, of Scobey, born May 19, 1995 at Grenada Lake Medical Center. Known as Drew to all he knew, Drew was known for his hugs and big smile. Drew loved his church family where he was a member at Zion Grove Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed participating in the church praise team, "Earthen Vessels". Drew left his earthly home on October 5, 2017 at 3:00 AM at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada surrounded by his family and friends, at the age of 22.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Coffeeville School District Gym with Rev. William Tribble and Rev. Wayne Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Wayside Cemetery near Scobey. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Saturday evening at McKibben and Guinn and one hour prior to the service Sunday at the Coffeeville School District Gym.
Survivors include his parents, Roger, Sr. and Sheri Jackson of Scobey; two brothers, Roger L. Jackson, II of Grenada and Kristopher G. Jackson of Scobey; his paternal grandmother, Watha Grace Jackson of Scobey; maternal grandfather, Leonard Graves of Scobey; uncles, Howard Jackson (Linda) of Oakland, Lewis Jackson of Scobey, Nathaniel Guin of Cascilla, and Paul Guin (Jennifer) of Charleston; aunts, Watha Jean Jackson of Scobey, Shelby Collins of Mantachie, Wanda Jo Shaw (Walt) of Fulton, and Kristi Hynes of Coldwater; and one nephew, Brantley Liam Jackson of Mathiston.
Drew was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Howard Jackson and maternal grandmother, Helen C. Graves.
Members of the Earthen Vessels Praise Team at Zion Grove Church of God of Prophecy will honor Drew by serving as pallbearers.
The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to the Medical Staff at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for the care given to Drew in the last months of his life and also to the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada Critical Care Unit Staff for their comfort to the family.
