Mr. Eddie Ledoral Williams, 80, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada. He was born July 6, 1946 in Ruleville to James Boston Williams and Annie Inez Schaefer Williams. Eddie honorably served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed working as an EMT at Grenada Lake Medical Center and later as a truck driver. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Aleta Meredith Williams; daughter, Shannon M. Lewis(Lawrence); son, Eddie Ledoral “E.J.” Williams, II(Ginger); seven grandchildren, Kristian M. Dorrough(Desmond), Lindsey M. Wood, Kayla A. Wolfe(River), Hayz McClain(Skylar), MaChalla N. Williams, Emma J. Williams and Madilynn B. Williams; and six great-grandchildren, Lily M. Coarsey, Aubrey M. Dorrough, Mason R. Wolfe, John L. Wolfe, Kalie R. McClain and Bowen H. McClain.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
