Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Brown Schmidt, 70, of Live Oak, FL, formerly of Holcomb, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 in Gainesville, FL. She was born November 5, 1948 in Grenada to James Liddell and Martha Louise Carver Brown. She was a devoted homemaker and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 24, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Jerry McNeer officiating. Interment will follow in the Sparta Cemetery near Holcomb. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Saturday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Schmidt; two sons, Eddie Nester(Christy) of Holcomb and Jason Schmidt(Margie) of Live Oak, FL; two brothers, Edward L. Brown(Jean) of Live Oak, FL and John W. Brown(LaDonna) of Holcomb; and four grandchildren, Corey Nester, Savannah, Ariel and Lily Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Joseph E. Haddon, III.

Pallbearers will be John Brown, Eddie Nester, Donald Schmidt, Gary Schmidt, Anthony Pinero and Ronald Pinero.
