Elouise Morman Savage, 82, died peacefully unto Christ on March 28, 2021, following a brief illness. Born July 22, 1938, in Gore Springs, MS, she was a 1957 graduate of John Rundle High School in Grenada, MS. Mrs. Savage was employed by the Grenada School District for over 23 years prior to her retirement. During her adult life, she was an active member of First Baptist Church in Grenada, Beech Springs Baptist Church in Kodak, TN, and most recently, First Baptist Church in Oxford, MS. Preceded in death by her husband, Rex Savage, and daughter, Natasha Smith, she is survived by son, Bud Edwards (Audra); daughter, Talitha Bennett (Jay); son, Benny Edwards; and son-in-law, Bryant Smith. Additionally, her heritage includes 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A graveside service, observing safety precautions of masks and distancing, will be officiated by Reverend Don Gann at 10:00am, Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada. McKibben & Guinn Funeral Service is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
