Mrs. Erin Mallory Worthy, 50, of Grenada, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at HonorHealth Scottsdale Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born May 30, 1966 in Houston to R.W. "Dike" and Betty Mitchell Mallory. She was a graduate of Mississippi State University and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada. While Erin had worked in journalism and retail, she spent most of her life being a model wife and mother sharing her love for Christ in her every action and deed. She loved greatly, was loved greatly and will be missed by all who knew her.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada with Rev. Eugene Heimbach and Dr. Brent Barker officiating. Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery in Webster County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday evening and one hour prior to the service Saturday all at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Worthy; two daughters, Olivia Goode and her husband, Taylor of Brandon and Grace Worthy of Grenada; her mother, Betty Mallory of Calhoun City; one sister, Stephanie Langston and her husband, Sidney of Calhoun City; two brothers, David Mallory of Gore Springs and Todd Mallory and his wife, Terri of Arlington, TN and a host of nieces and nephews.

In celebration of the beautiful life she lived, the family requests that everyone wear bright colors to the service.
