Mrs. Esther Fay Orrell Jackson, 83, of Holcomb, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022.  She was born May 30, 1939 in Charleston to Robert and Hazel Cunningham Orrell.  Esther Fay enjoyed a career spanning over 40 years working in the administrative office of the Grenada School District.  She was a devoted and faithful member of the Holcomb Methodist Church.  Esther Fay possessed a servant's heart and was always willing to help someone in need.  She never met a stranger and was a gifted conversationalist.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the Holcomb Cemetery with Rev. Rick Shepherd and Rev. Janie Mortimer officiating.

Survivors include her husband, James "Tommy" Jackson; son, Jack Jackson(Penny) of Holcomb; and three grandchildren, Reagan Jackson, Kellie Cummins Mullins and Hayley Cummins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cheryl Jackson Cummins; two sisters, Betty Lou Krone and Charlotte Simmons and two brothers, Robert and Gene Orrell.
