Mrs. Ethel Mae Duke, 77, of Elliott, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at her residence.  She was born May 22, 1944 in Magee.  Ethel worked for over 20 years as a Deputy Tax Collector in the Grenada County Tax Collector's Office and was a member of Elliott Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 4, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Michael Payton officiating.  Interment will follow in the Grenada Memorial Garden.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Duke; daughter, Angie Lawrence(Danny) of Grenada; three sisters, Kay Sullivan of Mt. Olive, Trudy Reynolds of Mt. Olive and Jolee Barnes of Crystal Springs; one granddaughter, Paige McLaughlin Ballard of Kilmichael; and a great-grandson, Talon Ballard of Kilmichael.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Eric McLaughlin; two sisters, Nellie Keen and Patsy Culpepper; and three brothers, Gerald "Dink" Eubanks, Rayford Eubanks and James Eubanks.

The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to Ethel's caregiver, Mary Gladys Bennett, for the excellent care she provided during her last days.
