Mrs. Eva Lee Kilgore Fisher, 87, of Grenada, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at her daughter's residence.  She was born November 4, 1935 in Coffeeville to Sidney Milton and Dorothy Dixie Taylor Kilgore.  Mrs. Fisher was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and was a member of Holcomb Baptist Church.  She and her sisters made up the "Kilgore Sisters" and enjoyed singing and making music for numerous area churches through the years.  Eva worked for a number of years at Pennaco Hosiery then later as a school bus driver for the Grenada School District.  She also was a private sitter for many elderly people through the years and considered this a ministry also.  In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and quilting.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 6, 2023 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. David Haggerty and Rev. Lanny Haley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Leflore Cemetery.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Monday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her daughter, Dixie Rose Vold(Charles) of Grenada; three sisters, Betty Hughes, Dixie Ashmore and Sandra Liddell, all of Holcomb; two granddaughters, LaRhonda Smith and Kristina Boozer; five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, L.M. Fisher; sons, Billy Gene Fisher and Sidney Fisher; granddaughter, Jenny Woods and brothers, Billy and Bubba Kilgore.
