Mr. Edwin Ferrell Palmertree, 89, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his residence.  He was born February 28, 1932 in Grenada to Albert and Annie Mae Mullins Palmertree.  He was a retired construction superintendent who possessed an extremely strong work ethic.  He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada and honorably served our country in the US Army during the Korean War.  While he spent most of his time working, his days of leisure were spent working on and enjoying his antique cars.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 8, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery east of Duck Hill.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Edwin Palmertree of Olive Branch and Dennis Aaron Palmertree of Cordova, TN; and a special cousin, Lily Dale Patton of Duck Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy Ann Palmertree; sister, Betty Romine and a brother, Tommy Palmertree.
