Mr. Floyd Fox, Jr., 71, of Grenada, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  He was born September 30, 1949 in Franklin, Kentucky to Floyd, Sr. and Pauline Creek Fox.  Floyd was a graduate of Western Kentucky University at Bowling Green where he lettered in Football.  He retired as General Manager at Suburban Plastics in Grenada and was very active in civic organizations through the years, especially the Jaycees where he served at the local, state and national level.  While fishing and gardening were among his many hobbies, being a motorcycle enthusiast was top on his list.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service in Highland, Illinois is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie L. Fox; nieces, Teresa Haley (Tutor), Debbie Rector (Winfred), Karli Madan (Aman), Brandi O'Neal (Daniel) and Ruthie Manor; nephews, Dwight Haley (Kathy), Brian Fox, Aaron Box (Danielle)and Mark Steinbruegge (Kat); great-nieces, Abigail Fox and Reagan Fox; great-nephews, Craig Rector (Laura), Jameson O'Neal, Landon Box, Aiden O'Neal and Cody Fox; uncle and aunts, Wilbur and Suzanne Iberg and Linda Iberg; mother-in-law, Janette Steinbruegge; and in-laws, Terry Box(Lori), Chuck Steinbruegge(Julie), Amy Steinbruegge, Barbara Fox(Bob) and Bill Haley(Margaret).

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, John Glasscock; sister, Margaret Haley and brother, Bobby Fox.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Diabetes Foundation.
