Mrs. Frances Delores Simpson Johnson, 86, passed away July 7, 2019 at home in Montgomery, Alabama, after a brief illness. She was born March 11, 1933 to Ben T. Simpson and Mabel Richards Simpson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Coffeeville United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Coffeeville United Methodist Church. Immediately following visitation, a graveside service will be held at the Elam Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Simmons officiating.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi Johnson Whittington and Dr. Lynn K. Whittington; grandson, Brian T. Whittington, all of Montgomery, AL; brother, Henry R. Simpson of Monument, CO; sister, Sue S. Hutchison of Sallis, MS and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby L. Johnson; son, Glenn M. "Bo" Johnson; her parents; brother, Robert L. Simpson; and her sisters, Lorraine S. Dyer, Dorothy S. Glenn and Marie S. Pittman.
