Mr. Frank Benford "Ben" Mitchell, 90, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1925 to Frank Edward and Berkie Ross Mitchell. He was a retired lineman with Entergy having worked there over 41 years. Mr. Ben was a member of the Rosebloom Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 27, 2015 from the Chapel of McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Darrell Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include two daughters, Margie Faye Burdine and Betty Huffman of Grenada; two sons, Frank Benford Mitchell, Jr. of Chapin, SC and Tommy Ray Mitchell (Charlene) of Marks; three grandchildren, Frank B. Walkup, III, Paul Wray Frazier, II, and Darrell Clay Frazier and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathleen Brown Mitchell; and seven siblings, Lucy Mitchell, Charlie Mitchell, Catherine Milam, Maude Evelyn Savage, Lorene Bell, Orris Mitchell and Maurin Mitchell.
