Obituary

Frederick Everette (Butch) Chamberlain, 74, passed away July 13, 2020, at UMMC-Grenada.

Butch was born in Grenada, MS, on November 24, 1945, to Clara Denley Chamberlain and F. E. (Tony) Chamberlain.

A graduate of John Rundle High School, he attended Mississippi State University and served in the Mississippi National Guard.   He retired after working 45 years at Mississippi Valley Gas/Atmos Energy.

He was a member of First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters Renee Chamberlain of Nashville, TN, and Karen Chamberlain of Acworth, GA.   He also leaves his sisters Nancy Krecker (Don) of Marlton, NJ, and Mary Ann Mayhan of Grenada, MS, his nephew Anthony (Megan) Mayhan, and two great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services will be held at this time.

The family wants to thank the staff at Grenada Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for taking care of Butch for the last few years. The family would also like to thank the staff at UMMC-Grenada for their heartfelt, sincere compassion during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Methodist Rehabilitation Center at 1350 East Woodrow Wilson Ave., Jackson, MS  39216.
