Mrs. Rosa Gail Newcomb Havens, 58, of Elliott, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  She was born May 14, 1964 in Grenada to Howard and Margaret Corder Newcomb.  Gail was devoted to her family and took great joy in providing for and meeting their needs.  She also diligently worked alongside her husband in their family business.  In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, painting and working in her yard and flowers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Fletcher Moorman officiating.  Interment will follow in the Elliott Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Havens, Jr.; daughter, Devan Havens of Grenada; son, Johnny Marter of Grenada; sister, Myra Smith of Elliott; two grandsons, Mason and Loden Marter; son-in-law, David Logan; daughter-in-law, Lindsey Marter; and two nieces, Melonie Browning(Dustin) and Courtney Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Danny Newcomb.

Ben Blair, Art Blake, Baker Blake, Billy Cummings, Roger Havens, Sr., and Tater Sessums will honor Gail by carrying her to rest in the Elliott Cemetery.
