Mr. Garth Christopher Huddleston, Sr., 56, of Duck Hill, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. He was born September 5, 1969 in Albany, NY to James Edward Huddleston and Norma Jane Marcotte Huddleston. Garth was a truck driver for Edwin Taylor and Son Trucking for many years and enjoyed the many friendships he made through his work. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing every spare minute he had. He also enjoyed watching baseball and supporting the Atlanta Braves and Mississippi State Bulldogs. Garth will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Fletcher Moorman and Fr. Joseph Thumma officiating. Interment will follow in the Eskridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Rogers Huddleston; mother, Norma Huddleston of Grenada; daughter, Sydney Vazquez(Shane) of Smyrna, TN; son, Garth Christopher Huddleston, Jr.(Kayla) of Grenada; brother, Tim Huddleston(Lisa) of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Myla Vazquez, Honey Grace Vazquez, Rhiannon Huddleston and Liam Houston; and four nephews, Hunter, Carter, James Edward and Gunner Huddleston.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jason Huddleston.

Joseph Franklin, David Robinson, Johnny Rogers, Scott Rogers, Rodney Ross and Shane Vazquez will honor Garth by serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim McKelroy and Johnny Rainey.
