Mr. Gary Gene England, 62, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Jackson.  He was born February 13, 1959 in Batesville to Hugh Lee and Marie Drewery England.  He had worked for a number of years as an electrician at ADP in Grenada.  Known affectionately as "Mean Gene", he enjoyed being a musician and playing at any opportunity.  He was a devoted family man and would gladly work seven days a week to provide for them.  Gene will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2021 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Rev. Rick Shepherd officiating.  Interment will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Sunday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Gann England; two daughters, Jenni England Winters(Justin) of Grenada and Cassie Michelle England(Phillip Penn) of Grenada; one sister, Leanne Ashley(Charles) of Grenada; one brother, Steve England(Marcella) of Batesville; and three grandchildren, Gavin England, Alana Perry and Cayson Penn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Gavin England, Paul England, Tristan England, Lee Jackson, Phillip Penn and Justin Winters.  Steve England will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
