Mr. Gary Keith Houston, 71, of Grenada, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.  He was born April 22, 1953 in Logan, OH to Stanley Keith and Ocean Aldena Tucker Houston.  Gary devoted his career to the manufacturing sector and served in several roles with Ice Industries including Director of Operations, Plant General Manager and Manager of Tank Operations at the Grenada facility.  He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Grenada.  In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his yard and playing golf.  Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He will long be remembered as a kind and generous man.

A memorial funeral mass will be observed at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Grenada on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Father Arokia Savio officiating.  Family and friends will gather at the church one hour prior to the mass.

Survivors include his wife, Karla Houston; father, Stan Houston of Newark, OH; daughters, Christina Dwyer(John) of Newark, OH and Karen Tagle(John) of Bradenton, FL; sons, Gary Houston, Jr. of Grenada, Kevin D. Cook of Grenada and Robert Logan of Elko, NV; sister, Karen Pitcok of Roseville, OH; aunts, Jeannie Borelli of Cleveland, OH and Teddy Tucker of Logan OH; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother and two sisters, Connie Parsons and Lorna Stanley.
