Mr. James Gary Walker, 65, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at his residence.  He was born July 26, 1955 in Grenada to Willard and Winnie Pauline Collins Walker.  Gary had spent most of his working life as a truck driver and was a member of Hillside Baptist Church.  He was an avid crappie fisherman.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Prospect Cemetery in Montgomery County with Rev. Jerry McNeer officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Nicole Walker of Grenada; daughter, Anne Portis of Elliott; son, Justin Terry of Memphis; two sisters, Glenda "Mutt" Slaughter (Claude) and Cathy Waldo (Chappell) of Grenada; and one grandson, James Wade Acy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Smith and three brothers, James Morris Hendricks, Willard Walker, Jr. and Charles Hendricks.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Acy, Harry McCarley, Paul McCarley, Austin Waldo, Kage Waldo, Rob Waldo, Scottie Waldo and Walker Waldo.
