Gaye Monique Garrett Montgomery, died on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in Hernando, MS at the age of 58. She was born in New Orleans, LA to Dallygene Bailey Reeves and Jim Eli Garrett, Jr. She attended Pillow Academy in Greenwood, Northwest Community College and MS Delta Community College where she received an associate's degree in Computer Science. During her working career she held various positions in accounting, but her true calling was in the medical field.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Eli Garrett, Jr., brother, Jim Eli Garrett, III; grandparents, Eli an Alpha Mae Garrett and Robert Houston Bailey. She leaves a son, Andrew Garrett Jenkins of Scobey, MS; daughter, Dallie Monique Davis; mother, Dallygene Bailey Reeves, grandmother, Martha Goodson Clark, all of Hernando; sister, Mignon Backstrom of Owensboro, KY; also nephews, Brown Backstrom and Jackson Garrett; niece, Kari Clary and great nieces, Parker and Jayde Clary.

Visitation will be at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada on Saturday, March 24, 2018 with visitation at 1:00 PM with services officiated by Bro. Rodney Mainelli at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Holcomb Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Carver, Barry Campbell, Rodney Mainelli and Jimmy Ward.

In lieu of flowers, the flowers requests donations to their favorite charity.
