Mr. Calvin Eugene "Gene" Muselwhite, 83, of Grenada, passed away Monday, March 13th at the Mississippi Veterans Home in Oxford. He was born August 13, 1933 in Holcomb to Joncy Calhoun and Maudie Muselwhite. He was a retired machine technician from Heatcraft and a U.S. Army veteran.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral service with Rev. Kevin Tribble officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 1:OO p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include children, Ann Muselwhite Justus, David Muselwhite, and Julie Muselwhite Duke; brother, Joncy Lee Muselwhite; grandchildren, Bailey Muselwhite, Ryan Justus, Elizabeth Muselwhite, Conner Duke, and Clayton Duke.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane Anthony Muselwhite; and sisters, Flora Muselwhite Lidell, and Modie Muselwhite. Pallbearers will be Joe Justus, John Duke, Bailey Muselwhite, Ryan Justus, Paul McRee, and Jason Golding. Honorary pallbearers include Joncy Lee Muselwhite, Donald Vaughan, John Lake Merriman and Frank Smith.
