Geneva Waits England, 81, of Grenada passed away June 9, 2020, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital, Southaven. A dearly-loved and devoted educator, Geneva invested in the lives of her students, both at Kirk Academy and Holmes Community College (Grenada Campus). Over her forty-year career, Mrs. England was honored with many recognitions and accolades for her achievements in the classroom. After retiring, Geneva enjoyed gardening and traveling. She remained an active member and Sunday school teacher of First Baptist Church of Grenada and enjoyed regular study of God's Word with her community Bible Study group.

Geneva was born August 10, 1938, to Lloyd and Jewel Waits of Webster Co. Her greatest joys in life were her family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Archie T. England; her son, Archie W. England (Karen) Mandeville, LA; her granddaughters, Allison McLellan (Ronnie) Marrero, LA; Courtney Sparks (Stephen) Humble, TX; and Emily Watts (Jacob) Frisco, TX; her sister, Sherry Gammel (Steve) Eupora, MS; with five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Geneva is preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service celebrating Geneva's life, love, and legacy will be held at Bradford Chapel Cemetery, Gore Springs, MS, on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 3:00 pm. Drs. Archie W. England and Jim Nunnelee will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Training Pastors International or First Baptist Church of Grenada.
