Ginger Marie Penn Current, 43, of Grenada, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. She was born December 6, 1974 in Grenada. Ginger was a graduate of Kirk Academy and attended Holmes Community College. She was employed at Hankins Lumber Company.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Clarence Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her daughter, Haley Elizabeth Current Gudiel (Emmanuel) of Brandon; her mother, Clara Hankins of Grenada; her father, Phillip L. Penn, Sr. of Bridgeport, West Virginia; one brother, Phillip L. Penn, Jr. of Grenada and her grandmother, Mrs. Burton Hankins (Top) of Grenada.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Betty Penn and A. Burton Hankins.

Pallbearers will be Lowell Gibson, Al Hankins, Lee Hankins, Floyd Walker, Burton Webb and Jimmy Williams.
