St. Cloud, FL — Glen Thomas Nail, age 76, entered the gates of Heaven Saturday, July 18, 2015.
Glen is survived by his sons Glen Douglas Nail and wife Gengie of Ocoee, FL, Wayne Horace Cobb II of Orlando, FL, and his brother, Ronnie Nail and wife Linda of Hattiesburg, MS and sister in law, Margaret Chesteen Nail of Grenada, MS. He also leaves behind five grandchildren: Waymon Horace Cobb III, Heather Brooke Jablonski, Jordan Wesley Cobb, Taylor Cobb, Spenser Alexandra Ptolomey, and numerous loving great grandchildren.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Ruth; father and mother, Bilbo and Edna; brother, William Charles Nail; son, John Wesley Cobb; and daughter Lytricia Ruth Moore.
Glen honorably and heroically served his country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force earning numerous awards and decorations; most notably the Bronze Star with Valor while serving in Khe Sanh, South Viet Nam during the Tet Offensive.
After retiring from the Air Force, Glen worked at Kennedy Space Center as a power production technician and was involved with numerous space shuttle launches. Living in St Cloud, Florida, he became an accomplished fisherman and golfer.
Services will be held this Saturday, 25 July, 10 am at Calvary Baptist Church, Duck Hill, MS.
