Mrs. Gloria Faye Minyard Browning, 79, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 8, 1938 in Carroll County to Charles Rufus and Carrie Valentine Pinkston Minyard. She had worked many years in the Grenada area as an LPN and was a member of Duck Hill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2017 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Adelbert Adcock officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Gardens Cemetery at Paynes. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time Friday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Morris Browning; two daughters, Vallery J. Winter (Jesse) and Teresa Browning-Carpenter all of Grenada; three sons, Ray Browning and Robert J. Browning (Penny) all of Grenada and Glen Browning(Amy) of Vicksburg; one sister, Christine Gilbreath of Dyersburg, TN; Randy Minyard of Crown Point, IN; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Erin Brewer, Matthew Browning, Patrick Gilbreath, Shawn Gilbreath, Leslie Lee and Michael Raby. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Gilbreath and Desmond Pratt.
