Mrs. Gloria Jean Turner DeLoach, 79, of the Jefferson Community of Carroll County, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 9, 1936 in Carroll County to Thomas Clyde and Tommie Cohron Turner. Mrs. DeLoach was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 15, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00 PM Sunday evening at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Frank DeLoach, Jr.; three daughters, Teresa King, Phyllis Robinson (Jeff) and Karen Mitchell (Lance), all of Carroll County; two sons, William Earl DeLoach (Brenda) of Grenada and Ronnie DeLoach (Dorothy) of Pearl; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Billy and Rogers Turner.
Pallbearers will be Freddie Ashmore, Sanford Bennett, Cody DeLoach, Jason DeLoach, Ronald Edwards and Bobby Turner.
