Talmadge "Grant" Gatlin 70, of Grenada was called home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2024. A visitation honoring Grant is being held on Tuesday September 3, 2024 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Home in Grenada, MS from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.

Grant is preceded in death by his father, Roger Gatlin of Montgomery, Alabama. He is survived by his mother Nora Eunice Gatlin of Montgomery, Alabama, and sister, Kathy Gatlin of Chatsworth, Georgia, as well as Sandra Lane Gatlin, wife of 31 years, stepchildren Regina (Johnny) and Jim (Amanda), daughter Bonnie Gatlin and son James Gatlin and grandchildren Reagan, Madison, Abbey and Ethan.

Grant was the CEO of Chief Purification Water Filter Systems, Inc. since 2001. His desire to help others was demonstrated as he volunteered much of his time after Hurricane Katrina working with the Pass Christian Fire Department on the Coast to assist those who needed supplies and clean drinking water. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.

Grant's kindness and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace, and may his spirit live on in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
