Mr. Julian Greg Bloom, age 57, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 23, 2022.  Mr. Bloom, the only child of Julian Gray Bloom and Janice Garrett Foreman, was born on March 6, 1965.

Greg graduate from Grenada High School and attended Hinds Community College and Delta State University.  He was employed for a time as an insurance adjuster, but his interest in plants and trees led him to a career in horticulture, working in nurseries in Texas.  Greg enjoyed reading, traveling, music and his love of history.  He had a Jack Russell Terrier, appropriately named Jack, that followed him everywhere he went.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 29, 2022 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Rev. Daniel Herring officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Thursday at McKibben and Guinn.

Mr. Bloom is survived by his daughter, Sara Bloom of Texas, whom he adored; his loving mother; an uncle and several aunts and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father; step-father, Caley Foreman; grandparents, Rev. Johnny and Grace Bloom, Jimmy Eli and Alpha Garrett; an aunt and several uncles.
