Mr. Harold Gregory Jones, 68, of Holcomb, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.  He was born July 28, 1956 in Greenwood to Claude and Mary Elizabeth Gilbert Jones.  Greg had worked in construction and maintenance all of his life and was very gifted in his trade.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and searching for old Indian artifacts.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Holcomb Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Jones officiating.  Following the service, Greg will be laid to rest in the New Cleveland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday at Holcomb Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Mary E. Jones of Holcomb; two daughters, Mary Lauren Jones of Cleveland and Kim Cason of Monkstown, TX; brother, Tim Jones of New Iberia, LA; grandchildren, Jacob, McKenna, Bree Anna, Maddison and Logan; nieces, Lindsey Jones Gaspard and Candace Powell and nephews, Beachum  and Jon Claude Jones.

Greg is preceded in death by his father; brother, Claude Jones, Jr. and his grandparents, Harold and Annie Mae Gilbert & Beachum and Mittie Jones.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
