Miss Greta Fay McCain, 84, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Grenada.  She was born July 10, 1936 in Vaiden to Moss and Zelma McCorkle McCain.  She spent many years working as a switchboard operator at Grenada Lake Medical Center.  She was a member of the Shongalo Presbyterian Church where she attended as a child.  Prior to moving her membership back to her home church, she was an active and faithful member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Grenada.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Shongalo Presbyterian Church with Rev. Phil McRae officiating and Davis Roberts delivering the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery near Vaiden.

Survivors include a nephew, Jeffrey Welch of Grenada; a niece, Jennifer Bryan of Faulkner; and two special young men she thought of as her own, Sayle and Davis Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Agnes Welch and Nobie Ferguson; one brother, Eldon McCain; and three nephews, Cleveland, Calvin and Franklin Welch.
