Mr. Harold Helm Fly, 80, of Coffeeville, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Grenada Living Center. He was born September 13, 1936 in Coffeeville to Bilbo and Earlene Helm Fly. Harold was a member of First Baptist Church in Coffeeville and had retired from the Mississippi State Forestry Commission after having worked there for over 32 years. He also faithfully served our country in the US Army.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 10, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Rev. Craig Baker and Rev. Billy Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the Coffeeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday evening at McKibben and Guinn and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Pearl Fly; one daughter, Barbara Manley and her husband, Dale of Meridian; one son, Louis Fly of Olympia, WA; one sister, Eleanor Ann Boyle of Coffeeville; two brothers, John L. Fly of Holcomb and Lynn Allen Fly of Horn Lake; six grandchildren, Blair, Mallory, Colby, Shania, Stephen and Selena; and four great-grandchildren, Emily, Jenna, Wyatt and Chloe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Lisa Marie Roach and three brothers, Gerald Fly, Jimmy Fly and Bob Fly.

Pallbearers will be Donny Armstrong, Randy Armstrong, Jeff Fly, Charlie Hill, David Hill and Kenny Myers.
