Ms. Helen Jane Lane, 73, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in Greenwood.  She was born May 6, 1950.  Helen worked for over 15 years at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada, and after it closed, she worked at ADP until her retirement.  She was fiercely devoted to her family and will long be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother with the kindest spirit.  Helen also possessed a strong work ethic and worked hard her entire life.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

There are no services planned at this time.

Survivors include her daughters, Brandy Smith(Mickey) of Cascilla and Hollie Lane of Little Rock, AR; sister, Doris Shaw(H.V.) of Senatobia; five grandchildren, Taylor Preston(Klayton), Ashton Smith(Madi), Jordan Smith(Haley) and Kenydi Lane and Rylee Murphree; and two great-grandchildren, Nolan Robinson and Levi Preston.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Kenneth and her sister, Margaret Sadler.
