Mr. Herbert D. "Tagline" Mooney, 67, of Coffeeville, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 in Grenada.  He was born January 5, 1955 in Meridian.  Mr. Mooney had worked in construction and was a crane operator all of his life.  Fishing and enjoying time outdoors were among his many hobbies.  He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide football team.  Spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, was where he found the most joy.

Memorial service plans are private.

Survivors include two daughters, Kristy Ingram(Michael) of Coffeeville and Karli Snoddy(Luke) of Aliceville, AL; two sons, Jeramy Mooney(Alisha) and Jason Mooney(Amanda), both of Grenada; one brother, Ervin Mooney(Mary) of Quitman; fourteen grandchildren, Ashton Butler, Wesley Mooney, Hunt Young, Wyatt Mooney, Waylin Mooney, Cody Ingram, Halston Ingram, Jewels Ingram, Reed Ingram, Haydn Mooney, Kylee Hudgens, Jasee Mooney, Nolan Mooney and Samuel Snoddy; and four great-grandchildren, Lorelei Butler, Logan Butler, Callie Mooney and Jaimsey Mooney.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Joyce Culpepper Cameron and his father, General Mooney.
