Mr. Horace Browning, 93, of Grenada, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.  He was born October 24, 1930 in Webb to David and Lois Pernell Browning.  Mr. Browning honorably served our country in the US Army during the Korean War and was of the Baptist faith.  He retired as a Park Manager with the Mississippi State Park Commission and was a Commercial Fisherman.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Joey Faulk officiating.  Private burial will follow at the Magnolia Gardens Cemetery at Paynes.

Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Tucker(Andy); his identical twin brother, Morris Browning; three grandchildren, Nash Tucker(Ashley), Lindsey Tucker(Ray) and Holly Read(Neil); five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Faye Browning; son, Steven Browning and nephew, Ray Browning.
