Mr. Howard Elisha Buice, 76, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, TN.  He was born December 16, 1944 in Florida to Howard and Mary Fowler Buice.  He was a former City of Grenada fireman and later in life was a self-employed over the road truck driver.  Howard was a member of Temple Baptist Church and was also a Mason.  He and his wife, Joyce, also enjoyed serving as Camp Hosts at the North Abutment Campground at Grenada Lake for several years where they established friendships with campers from far and wide.  While fishing and playing golf were among his many hobbies, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the times he cherished most.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Grenada with Rev. Eugene Heimbach officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Heath Buice of Grenada; his children, Robin Hill and Shane Buice, both of Grenada; Joyce's children, Rose McCurdy of Eads, TN, Hope Dykes of Grenada and Tracey Forrest of Starkville; one sister, Ann Buice of Southaven; one brother, Henry Buice of Kiln; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rocky H. Buice and two sisters, Maggie Joan Prewitt and Kathy Suggs.
