Mr. Hubert Dell Patterson, Jr., 83, of McCarley, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his residence.  He was born September 29, 1939 in Lexington to Hubert, Sr. and Ruth Corley Patterson.  Mr. Patterson honorably served our country in the US Navy and was a member and Deacon at New Bethel Baptist Church in Carroll County.  He had worked as a maintenance manager at Ascension Towers in Memphis for a number of years before retiring to Carroll County.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Carroll County with Rev. Jimmy Hood and Rev. Jerry McNeer officiating.  John Patterson will deliver the eulogy.  Hubert will be laid to rest in the Hickory Grove Cemetery immediately following the service.

Survivors include his son, Jimmy Patterson of McCarley; daughter, Penna West of Hernando; brother, John Patterson of McCarley; granddaughter, Jennifer Bowman(Brian) of Tillatoba; grandson, Cassidy Williamson(Cassie) of Grenada; and four great-grandchildren, Charlie Brooke and Jack Bowman and Leah and Avery Williamson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Goldie Johnson Patterson; daughter, Paula Patterson; sister, Patty Patterson and two brothers, Don and Danny Patterson.
