Mrs. Ida B. Reed Henry, 87, of Grenada, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 2, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 7, 1929 in Kosciusko to Jim Henry and Sudie Ann Jennings Reed. She was a member of Cruger Baptist Church and had worked for many years at the Baldwin Piano Company in Greenwood. She was a woman who loved the Lord and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Terry Cemetery in Terry, MS. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday evening and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane Goss (Michael) of Greenwood and Doris E. West (Terry) of Oakland; two sons, John McDaniel (Ilona) of LaGrange, GA and Bill McDaniel (Martha) of Grenada; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Willie Albert McDaniel and Sam Henry; one daughter, Patricia Ann Wiggins; three sons, Jim Henry McDaniel, Michael Wade McDaniel and Larry Wallace McDaniel; five sisters and three brothers.
