Mrs. India Crowder Maner, 87, of Grenada, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 at her residence.  She was born February 28, 1938 in Grenada to William Harris Crowder and Leeta Buskirk.  India was a Teacher as well as a Missionary for 25 years in Brazil where she taught at the Bible Institute.  She was also an Elder at the Presbyterian Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Service.

Survivors include her son, William Maner of Clinton; daughters, Stephanie Thayer of Grenada and Elizabeth Maner of Franklin, TN; brother, William Harris Crowder II of Jackson; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Maner.

Emile Thayer, Liam Thayer, Corbin Thayer, Causey Maner, and Shaw Maner will serve as pallbearers.
