Mr. Jack Newton Smith, 68, of Grenada, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at Specialty Hospital of Meridian. He was born September 26, 1950 in Grenada to John Oliver Smith, Jr. and Irene Laura Hawk Smith. He had faithfully served our country in the US Navy and had spent many years working in retail management. Jack was dearly loved by his family and will be sorely missed by them.

There are no services planned at this time.

Survivors include three sisters, Patricia Burns of Grenada, Debbie Fitzgerald of Grenada, and Cindy Sultan of Duck Hill; two brothers, Robert Smith of Vicksburg and Tim Smith of Missouri; and a special nephew and caregiver, Richard Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
