Mr. John Jacob "Jake" Tribble, 68, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.  He was born September 25, 1956 in Grenada to William "Doc" and Priscilla Sultan Tribble.  Jake worked in the IT Department at Union Planters Bank.  In his spare time, Jake enjoyed fishing, woodworking and his favorite pastime, piddling.  A devoted member of Faith Fellowship Church, Jake was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and instrumental in all activities of the church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Bro. Bennie Vance and Bro. Kevin Tribble officiating.  The family will receive friends from noon until service time Friday at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Matheny Tribble; son, Rev. Kevin Tribble(Laura) of Holcomb; grandchildren, Laine Tribble(Tristan) of Grenada and Karli Hollis(Ashton) of Holcomb; and one great-grandchild, Beckett Wade Hollis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Taylor and a brother, Winfred Jenkins Tribble.

The Men of Faith Fellowship, along with his close friends and fishing buddies will serve as honorary pallbearers.
